Robocop has a new game! Robocop Rogue City has just released its gameplay trailer. The first-person shooter (FPS) puts the player in the role of the protagonist Alex Murphy. The inspiration is in the 1987 film directed by Paul Verhoeven, but in a totally new story.
The game promises not to take the violence lightly, keeping the atmosphere of the original film. That is, no Robocop flying or allying with children, as in the last feature of the film trilogy.
Armed with the iconic Auto-9, the player embodies the half-man, half-machine police officer to fight forces that seek to destroy old Detroit. You have the power to decide how to fulfill the main guidelines in your own way, but as the story unfolds, the advice is to proceed with caution as corruption and greed know no bounds in this city.
RoboCop: Rogue City comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
